The story behind the name Bräu Rup from 1823 plays a significant role in the history of the hotel. The locals gave the name to our great great great grandfather Bräuer Rupert as a nickname, who at that time brewed high quality beer despite the difficulties involved. (link tip„History brewery”)89 years later we have revived the tradition and started once again to brew our own unfiltered bottom fermented Märzen beer and our top fermented unfiltered yeasty wheat beer.
